UCEED Sketching Practice Question 26 | Vijay Design Studio Nashik
Farmer Working in the field
Draw a scene showing a farmer working in the field. You can choose any activity—ploughing with a bull or tractor, planting seeds, watering plants, adding fertilizers, or simply taking care of crops. Think about what you have seen in real life, on television, or on digital media. Use a 1/8 size drawing sheet and different pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, etc.) to bring out the details and textures.
Imagine the early morning or evening light, the wide-open fields, and the hardworking farmer focused on his task. You can show a traditional scene with a bullock plough, a modern tractor, or even a farmer gently tending to young plants. Add details like rows of crops, farming tools, water channels, birds, or even a distant farmhouse. Try to capture the dedication and connection the farmer has with the land.
Use shading and different pencil strokes to show the roughness of the soil, the softness of the plants, and the movement of the farmer. This drawing will help you practice observation, composition, and storytelling—important skills for NID, UCEED, NIFT, and NATA entrance exams.
