About NATA 2025

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) to assess candidates’ aptitude for architecture. NATA scores are required for admission to B.Arch programs across India.

Eligibility Criteria for NATA 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject (Chemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational/Computer Science/IT) with at least 45% aggregate marks OR Passed 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics with at least 45% marks.

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 20 marks in Part A, 30 marks in Part B, and overall 70 marks out of 200.

• Number of Attempts: Candidates can take up to three attempts. The best score among them will be considered.​

 

NATA 2025 Exam Schedule

NATA 2025 will be conducted on designated Fridays and Saturdays from March to June 2025.

• Fridays: Afternoon Session - 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

• Saturdays: Morning Session - 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM | Afternoon Session - 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Candidates must indicate their preferred city and session while registering.

Syllabus for NATA 2025

The NATA exam assesses a candidate’s skills in:

• Drawing & Sketching – Ability to sketch and visualize objects accurately.

• Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking – Analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

• Numerical Ability – Understanding mathematical concepts related to space and design.

• Language Interpretation – Understanding English grammar, meaning of words, and sentence structures.

• Design Sensitivity & Thinking – Observing and analyzing people, spaces, and products.

How to Apply for NATA 2025

Follow these steps to apply for NATA 2025:

1. Visit www.nata.in and create an account.

2. Fill the Application Form – Provide personal and academic details.

3. Upload Documents – Passport-size photograph and signature.

4. Pay the Application Fee – Online payment through debit/credit card or net banking.

5. Download the Confirmation Page – This is proof of successful registration.

 

Application Fees:

• General/OBC (India): INR 1750

• SC/ST/EWS/PwD (India): INR 1250

• Transgender (India): INR 1000

• All Categories (Outside India): INR 15,000

 

NATA 2025 Results & Score Validity

• Results will be available on www.nata.in.

• The score remains valid for one academic year.

• If appearing for multiple tests, the best score will be considered.
