Human Figure Drawing Practice | Part - 45 NID, NIFT, UCEED & NATA Sketching Preparation

Human figure drawing is one of the most important skills for students preparing for NID, UCEED, NIFT and NATA entrance examinations. In this Human Figure Sketching Practice – Study Series Part 45, students can observe and study different human poses to improve their understanding of anatomy, proportions, posture, gesture, and line quality.

This exercise is designed to improve visual observation, sketching speed, and accuracy, which are extremely important during design entrance exams like the UCEED sketching test, NID studio test preparation, NIFT drawing test, and NATA sketching section.

Students are encouraged to display the reference images on a larger screen and carefully analyze each figure before drawing. Focus on gesture first, proportions second, and details last. Try to capture the overall movement and balance of the figure rather than focusing only on small details.

At Vijay Design Studio, Nashik, students regularly practice such exercises as part of their preparation for NID, UCEED, NIFT and NATA entrance exams, helping them build strong drawing fundamentals, observation skills, and creative confidence.

Regular practice of human figure sketching helps students improve their ability to draw people in different poses, actions, and perspectives. While observing the reference images, pay close attention to body balance, posture, limb proportions, and the flow of lines. With consistent practice, students can develop greater confidence in both live sketching and memory drawing tasks.

The sketch reference images used in this blog are shared solely for educational and practice purposes.
